Originally planned as a two-day competition, this event has been reimagined as a one-day-only celebration of local music. Instead of competing, local bands will each take the stage for a full hour of live music, creating a fun, laid-back atmosphere that highlights their talent. The day will wrap up with a headline performance by Serendipity. Plus, enjoy food trucks, bounce houses, and alcohol sales throughout the afternoon. While the format has changed, you can still expect great music, community spirit, and a memorable day of entertainment!

Foundation Disc Golf Tournament

CJoin us in supporting the West Chicago Parks Foundation at our annual Partners Frisbee Golf Tournament! No experience is necessary—we'll be happy to teach you the basics so you can enjoy the game. The tournament will feature a nine-hole, best-disc format with a shotgun start and two golfers per team. Recreational players will play the front nine, while competitive golfers will play the back nine. All participants will receive a commemorative disc to use during the tournament and take home afterward.

Get ready for an adventure the whole family can enjoy! Race Through Reed is an exciting, fast-paced event inspired by the Amazing Race, where teams of 4 will navigate through Reed-Keppler Park. Test your mental and physical limits as you work together to complete fun challenges, solve puzzles, and race to the finish line. Will your team make it to the end first? Join us for a day of teamwork, adventure, and unforgettable memories! Registration Deadline: September 5
Puzzle Pursuit

Competitive: In this NEW Puzzle Pursuit addition, competitive teams of 2-4 people will race against each other to finish the same 1014-piece custom Park District puzzle. Puzzles will be the same photo as the recreational side. Each winning team member receives a prize pack, and the team keeps their custom puzzle. Childcare available for additional fee.

Calling ghosts and goblins galore! Come to the ARC to see what’s in store! Halloween games and lots of fun treats, this Halloween celebration is sure to be neat! Jump on your broomstick or float like a ghost to the Recreation Center and enjoy a hayride, live entertainment, games, crafts, activities and MORE! All children must be registered. Adults are free and must accompany children.
