Family Nerf War

Get ready for an afternoon of family FUN! Families will enjoy a dinner of pizza and dessert before rotating through different Nerf activities, including a Parent/Child Nerf battle, target practice, and parachute games! Everyone is allowed to play, so make sure to wear comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear! All participants must register and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cinco de Mayo Color Crawl

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a fun walk or run through Kress Creek Farms park. We’ll shower you along the 2 mile route with vibrant color made from safe, food-grade, biodegradable cornstarch. By the time you cross the finish line, you’ll be a brilliant color palette of hues. Registration includes a run t-shirt if you register

Adult Puzzle Pursuit

Friday, May 17, 6:30pm-8:30pm

Teams of 2-4 people will race against each other to finish the same

500-piece custom park district puzzle. Each member of the winning team will receive a prize pack including a $10 West Chicago Park District Gift Card. Puzzles will be unwrapped at the same time to begin the competition. If no teams complete it before the two-hour time limit, the winner will be chosen by the fewest number of loose pieces left. Each team will keep its custom puzzle. Concessions will be available, or you can bring your own snacks and adult beverages. This is a 21 and up-only event.

Wine in the Park

Stroll through the beautiful Reed-Keppler Park with a wine tasting and light snacks, and then end your evening at The Shell with a performance by Prairie Station Acoustic. Ticket includes 8 wine tastings, a commemorative glass, and the live performance.

Family Fishing Derby

Start Father’s Day weekend off by bringing the family out to Cornerstone Lakes Park! Enjoy a light breakfast by the pond and try to catch the ‘big one.’ Each participant receives a goodie bag and trophies are awarded to participants in each age category!
