CORNERSTONE LAKES PARK

This beautiful 41-acre park hosts fall and spring soccer leagues on 7 soccer fields and also features a baseball field, a sand volleyball court, a playground, a 1.5-mile asphalt trail, and a catch-and-release pond. Parking is available. One pavilion is available for rent for a maximum capacity of 40 people.

HISTORY & WILDLIFE

 

In 2002, the West Chicago Park District acquired Cornerstone Lakes Park. The ecosystem is full of native plant life such as milkweed. Wildlife includes cranes, egrets, cormorants, seagulls, geese, rat snakes, soft-shell turtles, and owls. The pond has bass, carp, bluegill, catfish, and northern pike. Beavers are also occasionally seen along the stream.

PAVILION RENTALS AT CORNERSTONE LAKES

The West Chicago Park District has several Picnic Pavilions available for rent May 1 through August 31. Reservations can be made through our office which is located at 201 W National Street in West Chicago, IL or online. We do not reserve without payment.​

Rates

Rental rates are per day, per pavilion and are non-refundable/non-transferable.
