HISTORY & WILDLIFE

Originally named Manville Oaks Park, Kress Creek Farms Park, was acquired in March of 1977. Manville Oaks Park was renamed in February 2011 to Kress Creek Farms Park.

There are remnants of history throughout the park, including a historical landmark house and an old dairy barn. Train tracks border the West side of the park. The creek, pond, and nearby areas are considered a riverine wetland with oak trees, buckthorn, bluegrass, European beech trees, and reed canary grass. Wildlife includes bald eagles, red-tail hawks, green snakes, crawfish, and coyotes.
